Zoom Sunday Service
April 5, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
After a thoughtful discussion with members of the congregation, Church Council has decided for Temporary Closures Due to Corona Virus for this and next events. However, every Sunday morning we will have a Zoom congregational meeting as a faith community.
Sunday – the first day of Holy Week
It’s also the day on which we usually celebrate communion together. Now I know that this is one of those
activities in our worshipping lives that bring us together and not just as a local faith community but as a
global faith community. Around the world in different cultures and languages people of the Christian Faith
break bread and share wine – and they do this to remember the life of Jesus, to demonstrate solidarity with
his ministry and to symbolise that we are part of a much larger body of faith which stretches back through
history.
So, in preparation for this ZOOM Sunday meeting please have in front of you a small glass of wine or juice,
water, milk or whatever, and a piece of bread. We will celebrate communion together.
How can you join Zoom worship?
On Sunday at 10.15 am, I will send an email to everyone who usually attends, with the intention of starting at 10.30.
How to connect via Zoom?
Click on the link in your email and away you go. It’s almost as simple as that. You can use any device – desktop, laptop, iPad / tablet, mobile phone. I’m sure we will experience a few glitches but we will sort them out as we go along.
If anyone would like to join the Sunday Zoom congregation, please contact us before Sunday.
‘See’ you on Sunday in time of isolation. Meanwhile, take care and L’Chiam – for life!
Regards
David
