DESCRIPTION:With regret\, our Bible study in the church have been suspended until such time as the Government and public health authorities deem it safe to resume. However\, we will have a Zoom Bible study on Jun 24th.\nWEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY – Jesus Christ as Redeemer / Saviour concept’\nComing out of our Titles of Jesus series\, a request has been made that we spend a couple of weeks exploring the whole ‘Jesus Christ as Redeemer / Saviour concept’ and how we could deal with it from a Progressive Christian perspective – especially if we don’t really believe it but many of our Christian ‘ friends/family’ do. However\, we will have a Zoom Bible study on May 6th.\nWEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY – The Book of Revelation: session 3\nThis coming Wednesday I will be hosting session 3 of this series. Shortly after starting I will hand over to my colleague Robert Hoskin who has prepared a very interesting study of Psycho-analyst Carl Jung’s insights into Revelation and other Apocalyptic material. Should be a very interesting session. However\, we will have a Zoom Bible study on April 29th.\nWednesday Bible Study – The Book of Revelation: session 2\nHaving spent session 1 in some kind of ‘background briefing’ and appreciating the importance of Ephesus and the imposition of the emperor’s Imperial Cult ( the worship of the emperor and his predecessors) we will now turn our attention to the structure of Apocalyptic writing in general and the Book of Revelation specifically.
