A SERIES of BIBLE STUDIES on ZOOM

With regret, our Bible study in the church have been suspended until such time as the Government and public health authorities deem it safe to resume. However, we will have a Zoom Bible study on Jun 24th.
WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY – Jesus Christ as Redeemer / Saviour concept’
Coming out of our Titles of Jesus series, a request has been made that we spend a couple of weeks exploring the whole ‘Jesus Christ as Redeemer / Saviour concept’ and how we could deal with it from a Progressive Christian perspective – especially if we don’t really believe it but many of our Christian ‘ friends/family’ do. I will endeavour to trace the journey of sacrifice as it appears in religious history ( especially Judaism) and its relevance or not for our faith journey. Should be an interesting couple of weeks I reckon.
