Christmas Day Service

There will be a Christmas Day Service at the church on Monday 25th December 2017 at 9.30am. Christmas Day is very much a ‘cultural’ holiday full of family traditions and connections but many people still like to participate in a communal act of faith. The Christmas story is full of folk lore and fantasy but all of it designed to emphasise that the birth of Jesus marks a moment in time when an ‘up there’ and ‘out there’ God Story became more clearly understood as a ‘down here’ and ‘in here’ story.

On Christmas Day we take just a little bit of time before the Boxing Day Test to remind our selves of this shift of perception.
